Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data we collect in File Replacer and how we use it, in line with Argentina's Ley 25.326 (Personal Data Protection Law).
What we collect
Your email and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile picture. The files you upload and the text we extract from them to detect variables. Usage data (detections made, tokens consumed) to apply your plan's limits.
What we use it for
To provide the service: identify you, process your documents, detect variables with AI, apply your plan's limits, and bill you if you're on a paid plan. We don't use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.
Who we share it with
Your document text is sent to Google Gemini to detect the variables. Files are stored in Supabase Storage. Payments are processed with MercadoPago. Transactional emails (sign-in links, notifications) are sent with Resend. None of these providers use your data for purposes of their own beyond providing us the service.
How long we keep it
Files uploaded without an account are deleted after 24 hours. Files from registered accounts are kept as long as you need them, and are automatically deleted after 30 days of inactivity or when you delete them manually from your history.
Your rights
As the owner of your data you have the right to access, rectify, update and delete your information, and to file a complaint with the Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública (AAIP), the enforcement body of Ley 25.326. To exercise these rights, write to soporte@tl256.com.
Security
Your data travels encrypted (TLS) and the database has row-level security (RLS). Files are private: only you can access yours.
Cookies
We use a technical cookie to keep you signed in and another to remember your chosen language. We don't use advertising tracking cookies.
